10000 Tree Planation Drive
Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central started Rotary Year 2026-27 with a clear environmental commitment by launching tree plantation activities at Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas, Orphan House Mirpurkhas and the Driving Licence Branch, Nawabshah.
Under the leadership of Club President Rtn. Wali Muhammad Lashari and Club Tree Plantation Chair Rtn. Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, the club has taken an active step toward promoting environmental protection, climate responsibility and a greener future for local communities.
This plantation campaign is not limited to planting saplings only. Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central is also focusing on proper care, regular watering and safety of the planted trees so that they can survive, grow and provide long-term environmental benefits. The club believes that real impact is created when trees are protected after plantation and become part of the community’s future.
For Rotary Year 2026-27, the club has set an ambitious target of planting 10,000 trees. By July 2026, the club has already planted 200 saplings at different locations. This early achievement reflects the commitment of club members and the dedication of the Tree Plantation Committee to start the year with action, responsibility and measurable progress.
Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central is contributing to a cleaner environment, improved public spaces and awareness on climate action. The club will continue expanding plantation activities during the year in partnership with institutions, communities and Rotarians who are committed to creating lasting impact.
