Quarterly Review Meeting on Polio Eradication | Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi

DG Shahzad Sabir, in his capacity as District Polio Committee Chair, led the Quarterly Review Meeting on Polio Eradication held on 18th September 2025 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi. The meeting brought together key stakeholders for focused discussions on strengthening Rotary's role in ending polio and expanding community service projects across the district. Key highlights included high-level engagements with national and provincial leadership; the Hyderabad field visit and SNIDs' participation with nomadic populations; interactive sessions with Rotaractors of Karachi and Hyderabad, inauguration and agreements for new Water Filtration Plants in partnership with K-Electric, installation of 12 hand pumps in rural Sindh, and preparations for World Polio Day on 24th October 2025. The meeting reflected DG Shahzad Sabir's hands-on and strategic approach to driving measurable impact on the ground.
