Polio Field Visit — Nomadic Tribe Settlement | Hyderabad

Following meetings with the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad, DG Shahzad Sabir personally visited a settlement of nomadic tribes where OPV drops were administered to children in extremely challenging living conditions. This on-ground visit highlighted a critical concern—out of six polio cases reported in Sindh this year, four have emerged from nomadic communities, making targeted outreach in these vulnerable areas an urgent priority. DG Shahzad Sabir's direct engagement in the field demonstrates his hands-on leadership and deep personal commitment to ensuring no child is left behind in Rotary's mission for a polio-free Pakistan.
