Inauguration of SNIDs Polio Campaign | EPI Dispensary, Police HQ Hospital, Karachi

DG Shahzad Sabir represented Rotary International at the inauguration of the September Sub-National Immunization Days (SNIDs) campaign, held on 1st September 2025 at EPI Dispensary, Police Headquarters Hospital, Karachi. The campaign was formally launched by the Honorable Provincial Minister for Health & Population Welfare Sindh, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, who administered polio drops to children present at the ceremony. The inauguration was attended by Secretary Health Mr. Rehan Baloch, EOC Coordinator Mr. Irshad Sudhar, and representatives of UNICEF, WHO, and BMGF Team Sindh. Rotary International's delegation included National Chair PNPPC Aziz Memon, Vice Chair Dr. Farhan Essa, DG Shakeel Kaimkhani, DG Shahzad Sabir, DGN Fahad Chaudhary, and Project Manager PNPPC Mr. Asher Ali. This powerful collaboration between Rotary International, the Government of Sindh, and global health partners reflects the collective resolve to achieve a polio-free Pakistan.
