Launch of Interact Club and session on Environment
RCK New Central has established an Interact Club with 16 students of Al Furqan School PECHS Branch. Dr. Arjumand Rabbani, RCKNC Polio Chair and Youth Leadership Contact, held a meeting with them where she briefly introduced Rotary's structure and service projects and explained the roles and responsibilities of Interact members.
Students were encouraged to actively participate in the two projects selected for their club on Health and Environment. The Interact members subsequently selected Aliyan Majid of class X as President and Umar Qadir of class 1X as Secretary of their Club.
The meeting was followed by an educational session on Environment, attended by an additional 20 students. Dr. Arjumand highlighted practical ways students can become agents of positive change by keeping their surroundings clean, reducing waste, conserving water and energy, and planting and protecting trees. Brief guidelines on improving the environment were distributed among the participants. All participants expressed their commitment to actively participate in Interact environment activities.
