Inclusive Sports Gala – Promoting Inclusion Through Sports
Rotary Club of Karachi Roshni (RCK Roshni), in collaboration with BENAI Foundation and Field House Foundation, participated in the Inclusive Sports Gala held on 26th September 2026 at the Sports Complex, Kashmir Road, Karachi.
The event aimed to promote inclusion, equality, confidence, friendship, and equal opportunities by bringing together students with and without disabilities in a shared sporting environment. Students from various organisations supporting children with disabilities, along with students from Roshni Public School and NJV, participated in a range of sporting activities.
The games included Tug of War, Arm Wrestling, Ludo, Chess, Races, Three-Legged Race, and Wheelchair Tennis. These activities encouraged teamwork, interaction, confidence-building, healthy competition, and mutual understanding among students of different abilities.
The event was organised with the support of Mr. Salman Elahi and his team from BENAI Foundation, Mr. Khalid Rehmani and his team from Field House Foundation, and RCK Roshni members Rtn. Atiya Izhar, Rtn. Anita Kirmani, Rtn. Ayaz Ghazi, Rtn. Faizan Iqbal, and Adil Zeeshan, alongside dedicated volunteers and supporters.
RCK Roshni also extends its sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest and Mentor, Mr. Shahzad Sabir, District Governor, Rotary International District 3271, for his presence, encouragement, and continued leadership.
The Inclusive Sports Gala demonstrated how sports can break down barriers, foster friendships, promote accessibility, and create an environment where every student feels valued and empowered to participate equally.
