Global Youth SDGs Summit 2026
The summit brought together young participants from across Pakistan for dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), youth leadership, climate change, innovation and community action. The programme provided a platform for young people to exchange ideas and discuss practical ways of contributing to sustainable and inclusive communities.
Representing Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central, President Rtn. Wali Muhammad Lashari addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of moving beyond SDG awareness towards measurable local action. He encouraged young people to identify community problems, develop practical solutions and use digital skills, technology and entrepreneurship to create both social impact and economic opportunities.
The address also highlighted that young people in Mirpurkhas need access to mentors, networks, skills, internships and platforms where they can transform their ideas into practical initiatives. Participants were encouraged to take forward at least one measurable community action following the summit.
The participation reflected Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central’s continued commitment to youth engagement, education, environmental sustainability and community development, while strengthening collaboration with credible local youth initiatives.
The summit concluded with meaningful discussions, networking and renewed emphasis on the role of young people as partners in achieving sustainable development.
