Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium Visits Sikander Fatema Foundation School
On September 7th, 2026, members of the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium (RCKSM)—led by President Dr. Kausar Malik alongside Masroor Peshimam, Bina Rasheed, and Firdous Kamal—visited the Sikander Fatema Foundation (SFF) School located in the Federal B Area.
The SFF School operates as a fully charitable institution dedicated to serving deserving students. During the visit, the delegation met with the school's founder, Mr. Danish Siddiqui, and Principal Dua to tour the facilities and observe ongoing student activities. The RCKSM team was deeply impressed by the dedication of the leadership and the artistic talent displayed by the students, whose impressive artwork was showcased during the tour.
To establish a lasting partnership, RCKSM and the Sikander Fatema Foundation School will be signing a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on future community and educational projects.
Launch of the 2027 Desk Calendar Project
In alignment with Rotary International's Basic Education and Literacy Month, RCKSM officially initiated its flagship project for September: the Monuments of Pakistan Desk Calendar Drawing Competition.
The Concept: As part of our Literacy Month activities, students will participate in an art competition to illustrate 12 iconic national monuments of Pakistan.
The Selection: A panel of judges will review the entries and select the top 12 pieces to be featured on the official 2027 RCKSM Desk Calendar in time to celebrate Pakistan's 80th Anniversary Year.
Community Impact: The initiative engages students in creative arts while fostering national pride, literacy, and awareness of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. Proceeds generated from the advertisements in the Calendar will directly cover printing costs, with all surplus funds donated directly to the Sikander Fatema Foundation School to support student educational needs.
The Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium extends its gratitude to the SFF School leadership for their warm hospitality and looks forward to a successful collaborative partnership that empowers young artists and supports community education.
