MOU Signing & Plantation Drive — Two Urban Forests | Nazeer Hussain University, Karachi | Rotary District 3271 & Community Policing Karachi

Rotary District 3271, in collaboration with Community Policing Karachi (CPK), signed an MOU with Nazeer Hussain University, Karachi, committing to the establishment of two new Urban Forests on campus — reflecting a shared vision for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable city. One forest has already been developed with a variety of fruit-bearing trees, while the second will include Gulmohar, Moringa, Sukh Chain, and other environmentally beneficial species. The MOU signing was followed by a plantation activity attended by Vice Chancellor Masroor, faculty members, Mr. Razaq Pardesi, Chairman Green Plantation Rotary, and Colonel Aamir from Dr. Farha Academy. The University Management has committed to the regular watering, maintenance, and care of both forests — ensuring the long-term sustainability of this green initiative. A meaningful step towards building a cleaner, greener Karachi for generations to come.
