Rotary Club Disability Alliance Pakistan, in collaboration with Pakistan Independent Living Centre (PILC), organised a special Interfaith Harmony Ceremony on 16th August 2026 as part of Pakistan's 79th Independence Day celebrations. The event brought together people from different faiths and communities, reflecting the true spirit of Pakistan, unity, tolerance, mutual respect, inclusion, and harmony. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Dr. Kemal Uddin, Chairperson of the World Ageing Organization, and Josip Cardinal from Pakistan, whose presence added great value and meaning to the occasion

President Rtn. Sahil Hussain Bughio, Chartered President Mr. Jawaid Rais Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Vice President Mr. Hussain Ali, and members addressed the gathering on the importance of inclusion, interfaith harmony, equality, and community participation. The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting to celebrate Pakistan's 79th Independence Day , bringing everyone together in the spirit of patriotism, unity, and peace.
