Two Major Healthcare Initiatives Announced for Nawabshah & Interior Sindh | RC Nawabshah 61st Installation Ceremony
MNCH Hospital Clinical Training Center — Global Grant
Rotary District 3271, Rotary Club of Nawabshah Central, and Rotary Club of Nawabshah, in partnership with Aga Khan University, Karachi, are establishing a Clinical Training Center at MNCH Hospital, Nawabshah. The Center will provide international-standard clinical training to doctors and paramedics — particularly in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Anesthesia — strengthening emergency maternal and newborn care across the region. Hundreds of healthcare professionals from Nawabshah and interior Sindh are expected to benefit, ultimately helping improve care and save the lives of thousands of mothers and newborns. The project is spearheaded by RI Trustee Aziz Memon and developed and led by Global Grants Chairman for Sindh & Balochistan Syed Ali Haider Kazmi, with the dedicated support of PDG Tahzeeb Kazmi and the Rotarians of Nawabshah.
Advanced Eye Care — ERWO Eye Center, Nawabshah
Rotary has already demonstrated the power of strong partnerships through an approximately PKR 10 million advanced eye-care project at ERWO Eye Center, Nawabshah — led by PDG Tahzeeb Kazmi and developed under the leadership of Syed Ali Haider Kazmi, with the support of Rotary Club of Nawabshah Central, Rotary Club of Nawabshah, and Rotary District 3271. The project brought sophisticated diagnostic equipment to Nawabshah that was previously available only at limited major facilities in Karachi and Islamabad. Today, patients from Nawabshah and across interior Sindh can access advanced eye-care diagnostics locally, significantly reducing the need to travel for specialised diagnosis.
DG Shahzad Sabir also presented the Honorary Rotary Pin to Mr. Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, Minister for Interior & Law, Government of Sindh — a moment of honour and fellowship reflecting Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self. Together, we Create Lasting Impact.
