Flag Hoisting, Cake Cutting & Visit to Bilquis Edhi Child Home | RC Karachi Midtown | 14 August

Rotary Club of Karachi Midtown celebrated Pakistan's 79th Independence Day with two meaningful back-to-back events. The day commenced with a flag-hoisting and cake-cutting ceremony organised by PP Tanveer Quadri, Head of Johar Branch Dr. Essa Laboratories & Diagnostic Center, attended by District Governor Shahzad Sabir, DGE Ch. Fahad Sikandar, DGN Abdul Jabbar Sheikh, District Secretary Arif Siddiqui, and Advisor Syed Kashif Rafi — celebrating the spirit of freedom, unity, and patriotism alongside Rotarians and Rotaractors. The celebrations then moved to Bilquis Edhi Child Home, Korangi, where the club spent quality time with the children, sharing smiles, joy, and the spirit of Azadi with those who deserve our love and support most. The club was honoured by the special presence of District Governor Shahzad Sabir, District Secretary Rtn. Arif Siddiqui, and AG Zone 3 Rtn. Jamshed Badar Zahidi. Under the leadership of President Rtn. Syed Kamran Haider, RC Karachi Midtown demonstrated beautifully that the true essence of independence is serving humanity and spreading happiness.
