Tree Plantation Drive at NHS Colony
Rotary Club of Karachi Roshni organized a Tree Plantation Activity at NHS Colony, Karachi, as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and the development of greener and healthier communities.
The activity was initiated by Club President Rtn. Atiya Izhar, who led the initiative with the objective of contributing to the plantation and beautification of NHS Colony. A total of 20 young trees and plants were planted during the activity.
The plants were generously provided free of cost by Ms. Huma Baig, whose valuable contribution supported the Club’s environmental initiative. Rtn. Anita Kirmani, Rtn. Salman, and Rtn. Sohail actively participated in the plantation activity and assisted in planting the trees.
To ensure the long-term sustainability of the initiative, the newly planted trees will be maintained and cared for by the gardeners of the local administration. Their continued care will help the plants establish and grow into healthy trees.
The activity reflects Rotary Club of Karachi Roshni’s commitment to environmental protection, community development, and sustainable action. The plantation of 20 trees represents a meaningful step toward creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment for the residents of NHS Colony and future generations.
