The visit emphasized awareness, prevention, early detection, and collaboration for healthier communities.

A healthcare awareness and leadership visit was held at MMI Hospital in the presence of Rotary International President-Elect Larry A. Lunsford, District Governor Shahzad Sabir, and other distinguished Rotary leaders and community representatives.

During the visit, participants were introduced to MMI Hospital's healthcare facilities and its efforts to provide comprehensive free breast cancer treatment. The importance of cervical cancer vaccination as a preventive healthcare measure was also highlighted, with emphasis on expanding awareness and access for women across Pakistan.

Another important area of discussion was the increasing burden of mouth cancer in Sindh. The need for stronger public awareness, early detection and preventive action against the use of gutka, chalia, naswar and other smokeless tobacco products was emphasized. The discussion highlighted the importance of community education and collaborative initiatives to reduce preventable oral diseases and cancers.

The visit was attended by distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Ajaz Saya, Mr. Shoaib Ismail, Mr. Aziz Memon and District Governor Shahzad Sabir. The interaction provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on strengthening healthcare awareness, cancer prevention and community-based health initiatives.
