9 New Members Inducted & Tribute to Founder Mumtaz Maker | RC Karachi Sunset Millennium

Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium marked Membership Development Month with a milestone evening at the residence of President Dr. Kausar Malik on 6th August 2026, honoured by the presence of District Governor Shahzad Sabir. The highlight of the evening was the induction of 9 new members into the Rotary family, Dr. Syed Aziz ul Rab, Bushra Kashif, Danish Siddiqui, Syed Hussain Naqvi, Rear Admiral Mohd Zubair Shafiq, Shehla Zeeshan, Tuba Ahsan Idrees, Barrister Sher Ali Siyal, and Syed Zeeshan Kazmi , who took their oath before Membership Chair Masroor Peshimam and were officially pinned by President Dr. Kausar Malik and District Governor Shahzad Sabir. The evening also featured a deeply moving tribute to Founder Member Mumtaz Maker, whose 28-year Rotary journey embodies the true spirit of Creating Lasting Impact. Zeenat G. Bayat highlighted her professional achievements and charitable contributions, Omer Manya unveiled an upcoming book project in her honour, and a special memento was presented by President Dr. Kausar Malik and DG Shahzad Sabir. District Governor Shahzad Sabir offered inspiring words for the new inductees, expressing that attending RCKSM events feels just like coming home , a testament to the club's exceptional fellowship, warmth, and spirit of service.
