Thar Desert Green Project

The Thar Desert Green Project in Village Kandaro, Tehsil Kaloi, District Tharparkar, is an environmental under the leadership of Akbar Farooqi. Since October 2019, we have been trying to restore the fragile ecosystem of Tharparkar through large-scale afforestation and environmental conservation. To date, over 175,000 trees have been planted, helping combat desertification, improve biodiversity, and strengthen climate resilience. The project also creates sustainable livelihood opportunities.
