Launch of WHO Pakistan Public-Private Council | Karachi

A significant milestone for public health in Pakistan as District Governor Shahzad Sabir attended the launch of the WHO Pakistan Public-Private Council, chaired by Trustee 2020-24 The Rotary Foundation Aziz Memon and led by WHO Regional Director Dr. Hanan Balkhy. The launch was graced by RI President-Elect Larry Lunsford, WHO Country Representative Dr. Dapeng Luo, Federal Secretary Health, Senator Nasreen Jalil, and distinguished business, community, and national leaders. The Council aims to strengthen advocacy, mobilise resources, and foster public-private partnerships in support of health initiatives, disease prevention, immunisation, polio eradication, and sustainable healthcare solutions across Pakistan — with Rotary committed to playing a central role in this vital mission.
