Visit to Rotary Smart Village | Mirpurkhas

RI President Larry Lunsford visited the Rotary Smart Village alongside District Governor Shahzad Sabir, RI Director 2022-2024 Muhammad Faiz Kidwai, Trustee 2020-24 The Rotary Foundation Aziz Memon, DGE Fahad Sikandar, DGN Abdul Jabbar Sheikh, and fellow Rotary leaders — witnessing firsthand a remarkable model of sustainable community development. The delegation interacted with local artisans producing traditional clay pottery, explored the E-Learning Centre providing digital education for children and youth, and visited the Skills Development Centre where women receive vocational training in stitching, tailoring, and fashion design for financial independence. They also observed the community healthcare facility offering free primary healthcare, clean drinking water, and improved sanitation. RI President Lunsford praised the Rotary Smart Village as an exceptional example of Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus successfully implemented within a single community — a true model of Service Above Self.
