On July 7th 2026, the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium officially commenced the 2026–27 Rotary Year with its 28th Installation Ceremony at the Avari Towers Hotel in Karachi. District Governor Shahzad Sabir presided over the event, formally installing incoming President Dr. Kausar Malik and her board for the year 2026-27.

The ceremony was elevated by the presence of prominent international and district leadership, including:
- Jennifer Scott: Rotary International Director, attending with her spouse, Rtn. Ian Scott.
- District Leadership: District Secretary Arif Siddiqui and Aide to Governor Durdana Arshad.
- Past District Governors: Akhtar Alvi, Aftab Imam (accompanied by spouse Dr. Fouzia Imam), Saleem Rao, and Irfan Qureshi.
- International Guest: Dr. Mildred Vande Vusse-Vitangcol, Past District Governor of District 3880.

Outgoing Secretary (and President Elect) Saira Adnan presented a review of the club's impactful projects from last year. Guided by Rotary's core avenues of service, these initiatives achieved the following measurable outcomes:
Education & Youth: Supported over 1,200 students with educational development initiatives.
Disease Prevention: Provided critical medical interventions and care to 1,000 patients.
Community & WASH: Improved living conditions for 1,500 community members through environment, peace, and clean water projects.
Women's Empowerment: Delivered vocational training and economic empowerment tools to more than 150 women and girls.

Following the installation, Club Secretary 2026-27 Sharmeen Peshimam presented the club’s strategic roadmap for the upcoming year. The new administration pledged to design and execute sustainable, long-term projects across the Rotary areas of service. The executive team emphasized that these upcoming plans will be driven by a renewed commitment to club fellowship and collaborative teamwork.

District Governor Shahzad Sabir lauded the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium’s achievements and vision, encouraging higher ambitions for the 2026–27 year. With 13 members serving on the District team, the club is set to work closely with the Governor to surpass its goals.
